JUST PEOPLE NOW, INC. (JPN) primarily focuses on supporting at-risk children and their families.
Now in its eleventh year, the Summer Youth Program (SYP) held a five-day event with attendance exceeding last year’s participation by 25%. SYP engages local youth in critical thinking, creativity, healthy eating, and positive behaviors activity.

Additional areas of JPN involvement included:
Two adopted schools, Horizons and Valmead Elementary - donated holiday gift cards for needy families, back-to-school supplies, hygiene, and emergency clothes closet items.
Supported community-wide Turkey Tuesday Drive with turkey donations and volunteers.
Spearheaded a local community drive to donate over 750 pounds of paper/plastic and staples goods to the Soup Kitchen of Lenoir through its second Annual Operation Caring™ Project.

We value our volunteers and their heart for community youth. The organization gratefully acknowledges the community members and the professional men and women who volunteer countless hours to make JPN programs successful.
JPN sincerely appreciates donations and the dedication of donors who care about at-risk youth. By providing disadvantaged children with a safe, welcoming space where they can work and play, supporters help transform young lives. JPN strives to be effective through its uplifting community initiatives.

JPN is grateful for donations and the investment of time and resources from donors who have a heart for at-risk youth. Supporting young people by giving them an opportunity to spend time in a safe and inclusive environment engaging in both work and play can change the lives of disadvantaged children. JPN is committed to changing lives through its positive community programs.

Moving forward, Just People Now, Inc. secured a $2,500 grant from United Way of Caldwell County for its Summer Youth Program. An additional grant of $2,500 from the Stevens Family Foundation allows JPN to deliver more engaging and creative activities for community youth during the summer.
JPN continues to meet its obligations with the Internal Revenue Service to maintain its charitable, non-profit 501 (c) (3) status.
The organization continues to increase its outreach by partnering with community organizations, and adding more youth-oriented opportunities, and life experience programs. †
